Trusted by people who want legal work to feel lighter

Solo practitioner, Sydney

I still read every citation, but I am not starting from a blank screen at 9 p.m. The first draft of client updates is dramatically faster.

Small business owner, Melbourne

I used it to understand a lease before I went to a lawyer. I walked in knowing which clauses worried me and what I wanted to negotiate.

Migration agent, Brisbane

Multilingual summaries mean clients actually read the advice. Fewer “can you explain that again?” calls, and clearer instructions back to us.

Senior associate, regional firm

Uploading the tribunal bundle and asking targeted questions saved a morning of ctrl-F through PDFs. The value is time returned, not hype.

Accountant, Perth

ATO guidance and corporations law in one search beats jumping between browser bookmarks. I treat it as a research assistant, not a substitute for advice.

First-home buyer

I did not know half the words in the vendor’s statement. The plain-language walkthrough meant I could ask our conveyancer smarter questions.

FAQ

Simple answers about safe use

No. lawplexity.ai is a research and drafting assistant. It can explain concepts, point to public legal materials and help you organise facts, but it does not replace a qualified Australian lawyer for advice tailored to your situation, especially for court deadlines, settlements or criminal matters.

Because law is about sources. When you can open the Act, rule or case the answer came from, you can verify it, share it with a solicitor, or use it in a letter. The product is designed around that checkability, not anonymous paragraphs that sound authoritative.

You should only upload what your organisation’s policies and your client engagements allow. Use firm workspaces and permission settings where available, and treat sensitive material the same way you would with any cloud tool: need-to-know access, retention rules, and professional secrecy obligations still apply.

Anyone trying to understand a legal letter, a fine, a contract or a government notice. The assistant helps you learn enough to act sensibly (whether that is paying, disputing, or booking time with a professional) with less fear of “sounding stupid” when you get there.
